 | INTRODUCTION
The school was originally founded as the Marshall McLuhan American School in 1993. In 2007 the name was changed to the American School of Grenoble. It is currently accredited by NEASC. It offers classes for students from 6th through 12th grade, whose families are expatriated in the Grenoble area in France. Students must have been in an American program previously to be considered for enrollment in the school.
 CURRICULUM
The curriculum is an American based curriculum where we offer all core courses in English. All college bound high school students are prepared for qualifying university entrance exams. We deliver a high school diploma. Because we are a small school hosted in a larger international French public school, our students have the unique opportunity to attend some classes in the French school and thus experience an enriching international experience beyond the American program. We also provide Intensive French language courses and tutoring to help students acquire the added benefits of access and insight to the French culture and education.
 STAFF
All of our staff have at least a Master's degree in their respective fields. Nationalities include US, UK, Canada, Australia and France.

 FACILITIES
We are hosted in a large French International Public School which gives us access to very high quality facilities including science labs, an international library, gymnasium, cafeteria etc...

 SCHOOL YEAR AND SCHOOL DAY
The school year goes from September to June and we work on a six days a week schedule with half days on Wednesday and Saturday. The school is open from 8 to 6 for the rest of the days.
 EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Our mission is to serve those families that seek an American education for their children to ensure an educational continuity for them when expatriated in the Grenoble area. Our objectives are for children to reintegrate the American system easily while preparing college bound students to college entrance exams and encouraging all of them to acquire an international edge to make their stay in France both pleasurable and useful.
