In middle school a similar system operates but the percentage of tuition in French and English varies with individual student need. At high school level, students can opt for either the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or the French Baccalauréat International Option (BOI). The above system ensures a very high level of bilingualism among the student body as well as a high level of integration in to local French life.

Those students opting for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma route can choose a programme suited to their needs with subject available in both English and French. Many of the IB students achieve Bilingual Diplomas.

Approximately 50% of high school students at CIV International School of Sophia Antipolis are boarders.
